Payment Terms

These Payment Terms explain accepted payment methods, booking payment rules, and billing responsibilities for services booked through Kristona Shop.

1. Currency

All prices are displayed in AED.

2. Accepted Payment Methods

We may accept:

Credit and debit cards
Bank transfer
Approved manual payment methods
Payment gateway and BNPL methods made available on the website from time to time

Available payment methods may change without notice.

3. Booking Confirmation

A booking is only considered confirmed once:

The booking is accepted by us, and
The required payment, deposit, or authorization has been successfully completed, where applicable

4. Standard Payments

For many standard bookings, full payment may be required at booking or before the event date.

5. Large Events, Custom Orders, and Special Services

For larger or customized bookings, we may require:

A deposit to secure the booking
Staged payments
Full balance clearance before the event date

Where a deposit is marked as non-refundable, that condition will apply once the booking is confirmed.

6. Late or Failed Payments

We may suspend, delay, or cancel services if payment is not completed according to the agreed schedule.

7. Taxes and VAT

Our prices do not imply VAT registration unless explicitly stated.

Under UAE rules, businesses generally must register for VAT once taxable supplies and imports exceed the mandatory threshold.

As of the effective date of this policy, VAT will only be charged and shown separately on invoices if and when KRISTONA EVENTS L.L.C is registered and required to do so under applicable UAE law. If our VAT status changes, checkout and invoicing may be updated accordingly.

8. Payment Security

Online payments are processed through third-party payment providers and gateways. We do not store full card details on our own servers.

9. Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL)

Where BNPL options such as Tabby or Tamara are offered, the customer enters into a separate agreement with the respective provider. Notwithstanding this, the merchant retains full responsibility for service fulfillment and refund obligations. Any disputes concerning non-delivery, cancellations, or returns may require the merchant’s involvement in resolution procedures in line with the BNPL provider’s terms and policies.

10. Refund Processing

Where a refund is approved, it will generally be processed through the original payment route where possible. Please note that 3rd party or payment gateway fees may apply for eligible refunds.
